Africa Trip 6: Kenya 2009

Ron Hall in Kenya
This year I am headed to Kenya from August 6-19. I will be bringing, help, aid, and supplies to a much needed region of Africa which suffers from the AIDS epidemic. I will be spending that time working with children orphaned and / or infected with the HIV / AIDS Virus.

There are many costs involved with these trips including the ticket, supplies, gifts, sleeping quarters, and transportation. I will need to raise $3000 to be part of this effort. Each year has been successful with people like you wanting to be a part of this. Click here for a breakdown of the expenses

I am currently building a team of like-minded individuals willing to be a part of this essential sending arm of this mission.  Would you be willing to participate in this life-giving endeavor with a gift of   $300, $200, $100, $75, or $50? Not only would you be helping financially, but also through your gift you would be working along side me, helping make all this possible.

This is a twice-yearly effort with other work done from the US throughout the year.  This year we are opening up a monthly parternship program through The Edge - that will allow you to sow into this work on a monthly basis throughout the year.  Among other things your money will help the education of these orphans, supplies for the orphanage, and expenses for these trips. So whether it's one time or monthly, your support is put to great use! I hope to have this together by July 1, 2009.

All donations are tax deductable and a receipt will be mailed to you for tax purposes.

Message of Africa - now in East Nashville, TN
Since 2005, Ron Hall has been taking trips to Africa to serve orphanages and help spread the message of Africa.  Speaking to youth groups in Long Island (New York), Campus groups in Lusaka (Zambia), and congregations in Nakuru (Kenya), Ron has sought to build awareness in the United States about the orphans in Africa but and encourage young Africans of their destiny and their futures.

The Journey began with a New York City church missions trip to Lusaka Zambia, followed by a campus ministry return trip, with a journey to Kenya the following year, and an exciting adventure at a young boy's home this past spring.  Each step along the way, as Ron taught the Africans, the Africans taught Ron, and both walked away with a renewed sense of hope and of a future.
