Ron Hall from Africafire.com works with the following causes:
1. Friends of Mirembe - The Friends of Mirembe is an organization that houses the African Children's Choir. The home offers a base for the choir to live at during it's yearly tour of the United States. The African Children's Choir performs all around the US, and has performed with such names as Mariah Carey and Josh Groban. In addition, they recently visited President Bush. Ron has designed and maintains the website ensuring timely updates, additional content, and a smooth online donation system with easy tracking. 2. Chosen.org - Chosen.org is an organization dedicated to funding orphanages. Ron is consulting with the organization. 3. Samaritan's Children's Orphanage - The Samaritan's Children's Orphanage is run by Rev. John Jere in Lusaka, Zambia. For 3 years, Ron has been a financial supporter of this great work that helps reach the children of Zambia. He's also made two visits to the orphanage. 4. Christian Ministries in Africa - CMIA for short - has been serving Kenya since 1985. It has a series of orphanages, homes, schools, and churches. Ron continues to advocate for it's orphanage & orphans education program as well as raise funds to send it's orphans to school. Ron has made two visits to the orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya. 5. Babyhaven - Babyhaven services orphans in Johannesburg, South Africa. Run by David and Caroline Webb, it provides a home and loving environment to orphans in Johannesburg. Ron has visited once and plans to serve a longer volunteer term in 2009. Ron would like to ask readers to check out these sites (linked in red) and consider directly financially supporting one of these great organizations.
